What's different in v2
Some characters have a burn move beside their free move; seeds have an underneath effect instead. A burn move takes materials
off the character's own stack to fire — so hitting hard costs you health, and can switch
off your own moves.
Some moves read the stack: 1 damage for each Cloth underneath, more while you are
big, more when you are nearly gone. Scrap pile rule (switch at the top): destroyed and burned materials go to their
owner's scrap pile, and once a turn you may take one back into your hand. Switch it off
and they are gone for good. Slim rules (switch at the top): the same cards with a shorter turn. Draw 1 card and
2 materials, no choosing. No melt, no salvage, no scrap pile — your one free action is
scrapping a character from your hand into a material of any type you name. Open with 4 cards and 4 materials. Prize characters
grow from any character of their material, there are no prize items, and an empty shelf
never loses you the game. Rebuild (slim rules): if your opponent breaks your last character, your next turn
has 4 moves and what you build may act straight away.
Immunity — a character shrugs off one attack type, but only while a material of its
own type is still in its stack.
